With the trailhead located in scenic Prairie Springs Park across from the Donald Wruck Beach Pavillion, the multi-use Donald Hackbarth trail is an excellent year-round experience.

This 1.91 mile naturally surfaced and wood-chipped trail is perfect for those seeking variety in their adventure. Trail highlights include an observation deck overlooking the wetlands, a wooden bridge, and connection to the HWY C/Wilmot Road shared use pathway and bridge that joins the Hackbarth Trail to the Prairie Farms Trail. Loopers will find themselves back in Prairie Springs Park just north the the Hackbarth Trailhead.
