Stretching from just north of 102 Street and south of 116th Street along Lakeshore Dr., the Pleasant Prairie Lake Michigan parks/beaches (often referred to as simply "Carol Beach" or "Prairie Shores") encompasses five areas.

The areas that make up the Pleasant Prairie beaches of Lake Michigan are:

-Edithton Beach
-Lakeshore Park (off-road parking available - 10531 Lakeshore Drive)
-Prairie Shores Beach (off-road parking available - 10899 Lakeshore Dr)
-Chiwaukee View
-Phil Sanders Park

Public access points are marked by site signs identifying each of the areas.
