The Fall Art Crawl is always the weekend after the Sister Bay Fall Fest which is typically the third weekend in October.

Saturday & Sunday, 10am-5pm

Go north to Ellison Bay to enjoy the best view in Door County. Rich in the tradition of arts andcrafts, Ellison Bay is home to artist studios/galleries that feature pottery, original paintings,photography, wearable art and handmade leather items. There is also a cider house, coffee houseand a folk school.

Clay Bay Pottery-Jeanne and David Aurelius of Clay Bay Pottery create hand thrown pottery and tiles. Jeanne’sfunctional work reflects her devotion and delight in nature surrounding their rural studio andgallery. She is also known for her whimsical ladies. In a nice balance, David’s work is moreabstract creating hand built vases, serving pieces and tiles. Their gallery also carries originalpaintings, woodcuts, and pottery from other well known artists.

Ellison Bay Pottery-John Dietrich and Diane McNeilcreate beautiful, functional stoneware pottery and uniqueRaku pottery inspired by the beauty and history of DoorCounty. Their gallery also carries paintings by ThomasDietrich and Margaret Dietrich.

Turtle Ridge Gallery/Boutique -The gallery space features mixed media paintings, encausticsand etchings by Mary Ellen Sisulak. The award winning boutique offers unique handmadeleather bags and art to wear made on site; complimented by artisan jewelry and designerclothing. Turtle Ridge is surrounded by the inspiration of gardens and nature. Art Camps areoffered.

Kick Ash Coffee/Door County Love Artisan Granola-It’s a great place to kick back, enjoy theview and enjoy coffee, granola and other treats from their gluten free kitchen.

Gills Rock Pottery Thor and Judy Thoreson ofer original designs on hand thrown pots whichare both functional and decorative. Beautiful table linens and wooden ware are artfully displayedwith the pottery.

The Clearing Folk School-An adult folk school that offers classes in the arts and fine crafts, humanities andnatural sciences in a beautiful wooded setting on the water.

Ellison Bay Pottery Potters John Dietrich and Diane McNeil create distinctive, contemporary,functional and decorative one of a kind pottery inspired by the natural beauty of Door County.

Rob Williams Studio/Gallery-Rob’s colorful watercolor and oil landscapes are paired withShirley’s photographs and gardens.After your tour, stop and enjoy a glass of several handcrafted ciders offered at Island OrchardCiderHouse.
