“Clay Day - Potters in the Park” is a community-wide event for the Spooner area featuring local potters demonstrating their skills of throwing pots, slab work, and sculpting clay as well as decorating methods and glazing. 

The public is invited participate in the event by making a clay piece to take home. Clay Day will be open to all ages free of charge.

A special feature of the day will be local potter Richard Meaux, who will attempt to break the Guinness World Records for “Most pots thrown in one hour by an individual”.
