For this exhibition, artist Heather Hart creates a site-specific installation that provides a literal and figural platform for iconic sculptures from Dr. Charles Smith’s art environment, the African American Heritage Museum and Black Veterans Archives. Hart’s work is designed to facilitate multiple streams of communication between Smith, herself, the work, and the public.
