Root River Council and the City of Racine Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department is sponsoring their annual “Family Fun Day” on Saturday July 15 from 11am-3pm. The event is free, and will be held at Island Park, 1700 Liberty Street. The event will feature games, face painting, crafts, food and Culvers will be providing free complimentary ice cream! Attendees will enjoy live band entertainment provided by Cheryl McCrary former Mrs. Wisconsin Royalty International, who will also help emcee. Guest speakers will include Root River Council President Marv Letven, Marybeth Zuhlke secretary/event coordinator and others. Invite your family and friends to attend this family fun day in the park!
