Children of all ages (and their families) are invited to show off their Halloween costumes as we parade around Veteran’s Park in downtown Cambridge, followed by a “Trick or Treating Trail” where kids can trick or treat downtown businesses!

Halloween costumes are so much fun, they should be worn on more days than one! Dress up in your favorite costume and join us for a Halloween costume parade in Cambridge! Children of all ages (and their families) are invited to show off their Halloween costumes as we parade around Veteran’s Park in downtown Cambridge, followed by a “Trick or Treating Trail” where kids can trick or treat downtown Cambridge businesses!

Want to get in on the fun?  Meet in the parking lot behind Badger Bank (102 W. Main Street, Cambridge) at10:00 am to line up to walk in the parade. The parade will begin at 10:15 am, starting from the Badger Bank parking lot on Spring St, heading to North St, and then Park St. The total parade route is about 2.5 blocks long making it an easy distance for little legs and kiddos eager to get their hands on some candy!

At the end of the parade, kids will pick up a “Trick or Treating Trail” map letting them know which downtown Cambridge businesses are participating in Trick or Treating, and then they’re off!

Enjoy the rest of the time visiting and trick or treating downtown businesses in any order you’d like, and enjoy lunch and shopping at our downtown businesses.

Not interested in dressing up? We could use some spectators, too! Come on out and line up along the perimeter of Veteran’s Park to cheer on our little superheroes, goblins, princesses, and ghouls!

This Halloween Costume Parade was an idea sparked by local student, Kate Rogers, when she was a 3rd grader at Cambridge Elementary. She thought it would be fun for kids to have a chance to wear their Halloween costumes more than just on Halloween night. We hope you think so too, and we hope to see you there!
