Marinette’s “Logging & Heritage Festival” is a non-profit, multi-event run by volunteers. Donations for the festival go to pay for expenses such as Main Stage Bands entertainment, children’s  entertainment, tents, portable toilets, advertising, etc. The City of Marinette pays for the Fireworks display. The festival is also a vehicle for many non-profit groups from the surrounding areas to raise money for their respective causes. The City thanks all volunteers and businesses providing donations for this event. 

Highlights for the one-day festival include local artisan craft and farm market vendors and limited non-profit food vendors. We are bringing back the Ice Cream Giveaway and “Mischief & Magic Entertainment” to provide high quality entertainment for families with young children and free magic shows and balloon art will run throughout the day. For music lovers, there are two local bands playing: “The Dirty Martinis”, playing from 1-4pm and “Rosebrook”, playing from 6pm until the start of the fireworks, to wrap-up the event.
