The City of Altoona is proud to announce the return of the annual Ginormous Pumpkin Festival on September 25, 2021. The Ginormous Pumpkin Festival is an event that celebrates giant pumpkins (and other large vegetables ) and their growers, and this year the event will usher in the fall season to the Chippewa Valley 1,000lb+ giant pumpkins lining the River Prairie Park.
