MIGUEL ZENÓN Quartet

10X Grammy Nominee! Jazz Coterie presents the Miguel Zeno´n Quartet at Gibson Music Hall in Appleton — with Luis Perdomo on piano, Hans Glawischnig on bass, and Henry Cole on drums. Miguel Zeno´n masterfully balances innovation and cultural tradition. Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Miguel is widely considered one of the most groundbreaking and influential saxophonists and composers of his generation. 

Zeno´n has released fifteen recordings as a leader, including his 2023 Grammy nominated album, Mu´sica De Las Ame´ricas. As a sideman he has worked with luminaries such as The SFJAZZ Collective, Charlie Haden, Fred Hersch, David Sa´nchez, Danilo Perez, The Village Vanguard Orchestra, Kurt Elling, Antonio Sanchez, Brian Lynch, Joey Calderazzo, The Mingus Big Band and Bobby Hutcherson among others.
