What is the Local Motion Fund? This fund is designed to help Burlington’s downtown businesses during the reconstruction project set to take place in summer of 2026! Pine Street and the Chestnut Street Loop will be torn up from doorstep to doorstep next summer for scheduled utility repairs making it a very uncertain time for all the downtown businesses who heavily rely on your foot traffic! This fund aims to support and improve our beautiful City of Burlington while also creating a buffer to fill any shortfalls caused by the reconstruction project.
