The Langlade Couny Hunter Walking Trails are 24 miles of widened forest roads that are maintained annually. The area is primarily aspen forests with intermixed hardwood ridges and swamps. This block of county forest is focused on creating an ideal habitat for whitetail deer, ruffed grouse, American woodcock, and other "young forest" wildlife species. The trails cross rolling hills and are of moderate difficulty. Motor vehicle traffic is prohibied.
Parking is available off of County Highway T. Jack Lake Firelane, Camp 23 Road, and Stevens Springs Grade are low maintenance roads but are in good shape and provide access for all types of vehicles. Ample parking is available at the trailheads.Summit, WI
