Headgates Park is the location, where boats, pontoons, jet skis and canoes/kayaks enter the water. This park offers various opportunities of recreation, where families don't have to travel very far and can take advantage of a wonderful resource just outside of Brodhead. Many people will head north to Decatur Lake to enjoy a day of fishing or relaxing boat ride up the Sugar River.
