The dog exercise area is part of the 146 acre Metropolitan Refuse District (MRD) property. The Off-leash dog park provides a 20 car parking lot, shade shelter, picnic tables, drinking water, fenced agility course, self registration, portable restrooms, dog waste disposal bags and mowed trails. A 3-acre small dog area is open for use. Permit required. All dog park permits are valid at all Dane County Parks, City of Middleton, City of Sun Prairie and Village of Waunakee.
