Wintergreen Trail

The Wintergreen Trail is a series of loop trails - Loop A 1.9 Km, Loop B 5.1 Km, Loop C 8.5 Km, Loop D 5.1 Km. It is for your year-round enjoyment for non-motorized activities including hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, snowshoeing, fat biking and intermediate and expert level classic and skate cross-country skiing. The trail offers a variety of routes through rolling terrain, ranging from upland ridges to lowland marshes. A National Forest parking fee is required. The daily fee can be paid at the trailhead. An annual sticker can be purchased at the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest at the office at 1170 S. 4th Avenue / Highway 13 in Park Falls or online.


Wintergreen Trailhead (parking fee) - From Fifield drive east 7.5 miles on Highway 70 to the trailhead which is on the left (north) side of the road.
