The Wild Ones Institute for Learning and Development, aka the WILD Center, is a 16 acre community-based not-for-profit ecology center at the Guckenberg-Sturm Marsh on the west shore of Little Lake Butte des Morts, part of the Fox River and Great Lakes Watershed. The Center showcases landscaping techniques that increase biodiversity and prevented polluted rainwater run-off from reaching our streams and rivers. We are developing formal gardens, rain garden, prairie, woodland, marsh, and lakeshore areas thus making the Center a living laboratory and a demonstration site.
