This is one of 14 featured Door County Land Trust nature preserves that showcase the scenic beauty and natural diversity that make Door County so special. Nature preserves are open to the public at no charge for hiking, skiing, photography, nature study and other low-impact, non-motorized activities. 

Lower trail passes through fields and young forest offering stunning views of the waters of Green Bay as it ascends the impressive, fern-filled talus slope of the Niagara Escarpment. The upper trail offers three loops through old fields on the top of the escarpment.
