From pick-your-own orchards to farm markets to bakeries and country stores, there are many places around the state to enjoy special foods of fall from the fruit grown right here. Head out to one of these orchards and enjoy unique fall foods and your classic favorites.

Apple HutBeloit

The Apple Hut in Beloit is your one-stop shop for 17 varieties of apples and oodles of treats made from the crop. Known for their popular apple cider doughnuts, their delicious offerings don’t stop there. You can also enjoy a number of breads including apple cinnamon and pumpkin, frozen or fresh apple pies, caramel apples, plus squash, honey, jams and cider. The Apple Hut also offers hayrides and pick-your-own opportunities in their orchard. Fall fun is in full swing!

Armstrong Apples LLC Orchard and Winery – Campbellsport

This farm is a must-visit in the fall for all foodies and wine connoisseurs. This combination orchard and winery offers a wide array of foods and products made from their locally-grown apples and other fruits. They offer a line of apple wines you won’t find anywhere else including varieties like apple-cranberry, apple-pear, dry and semi-sweet apple and even a hot apple featuring hints of chili peppers. And the list doesn’t stop there! In their bakery and store, you’ll find traditional pies, cider, salsa, jams, mustards and honey.

Circle K Orchard – Beldenville

Located inside an 1865 log cabin, the Orchard Store is your destination for all sorts of apple creations! Some of their specialties include apple brats, made with fresh apple and cider instead of water, caramel apple pies, jams, and jellies. A number of tours are also available to turn your visit to Circle K into an educational fall trip. Take a wagon ride tour of the orchard, tour the commercial apple packing line or witness the cider-making process to learn how apples are converted into the delicious drink.

Located on the breathtakingly beautiful Great River Road, Ecker’s Apple Farm is an orchard offering pick-your-own opportunities, family fun and fantastic fall foods. Enjoy a ride aboard the John Deere Honeycrisp Express through the orchard and past the blueberry patch. Their bakery and store are full of favorites such as caramel apples and apple pies, and they also feature some of their own specialties including gourmet caramel, mini caramel apple pies and, on Sundays in October, apple brats. One sweet adventure for the whole family!

Kickapoo Orchard – Gays Mills

This orchard features a large salesroom where, seasonally, visitors can purchase their extensive varieties of apples as well as other fruit crops until they sell out. Their bakery features classic favorites such as apple pie, cookies, caramel apples, as well as their signature apple pizza. This delectable dessert pizza is a crust topped with fresh apples, a buttery topping made of sugar, spices and almonds topped with caramel. Bring the kids and explore their unique sunflower maze! The Gays Mills area hosts the annual Apple Festival which makes it the perfect place for a fall weekend getaway.
