Trail Description
In addition to the 12 miles of rugged off-road trails, the park's Sunset Trail is 9.6 miles of fine gravel and asphalt that accommodates recreational bicycles, wheelchairs, and hikers. Approximately 7 of the 9.6 mile route follows a two-directional crushed limestone path. The remaining mileage is routed along Hemlock and Middle road which are open to motor vehicles. In the winter, the Sunset Bike trail and Hemlock/Middle roads are designated for snowmobiling use. Non-motorized uses, including biking, are not allowed on the Sunset Bike trail during snowmobiling season.

Peninsula State Park will be working to improve the mountain bike trail system. Be aware of any changes that may occur during this time.
