The Governors Fishing Opener is held during the opening weekend of the Wisconsin hook and line fishing season. Parts of this event are by invitation only while others are open to the general public. The Fishing & Outdoor Expo, held on Friday, is free and open to the public. This expo will held at Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame noon-4pm.  Vendors, FREE fish fry to the first 200 people, casting skills challenge course, Bird of Prey, live music and more.
