With the release of their debut album Runaway, Wild Horses is carving out a space in the Americana scene with a sound shaped by deep Minnesota roots and long stretches of open road. Drawing inspiration from the people and places they’ve encountered across the country, the band delivers heartfelt storytelling, standout harmonies, and explosive live energy.

Made up of Jed LaPlant on vocals, guitar, and kick drum; Ariana LaPlant on vocals, fiddle, and keys; and Landon Pahl on vocals and bass, Wild Horses has shared the stage with Willie Nelson, Trampled by Turtles, and Wilco, building a loyal following with every performance.

Concerts by the Lake happen every Tuesday and Thursday from June 10 through August 28, 2025, at Memorial Park, with Lake Superior as the backdrop. All shows are free and open to the public.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and settle in for an evening of powerful music and fresh northern air. Leashed dogs are welcome, too!
