Fall Swedish Music & Dance Weekend

Celebrate Swedish music, dance, cuisine, and culture at Folklore Village! 2023 marks 49 years since Swedish immigrant Edwin Johnson and his family first came to Folklore Village to share the traditional music of his homeland of Dalarna, Sweden. Today Paul Dahlin, Edwin's grandson and a National Heritage Fellow, continues this tradition of sharing his family's musical heritage. 

The weekend features workshops in fiddle, nyckelharpa, and dance; cultural meals; evening dances; and more. We offer both part-time and full-time registration options, as well as scholarships and affordable accommodations. Visit website for more information.
