Best Place to See Color
Bright fall hues are speckled throughout the Platteville community. You're sure to find a bit of color at most of the city's parks, but make sure you don't miss the Veterans Memorial at City Park with the orange hues for a backdrop. Stroll the Rountree Branch Trail or Mound View Park trails for more opportunities for spectacular fall color. Feeling ambitious? Climb the 290 stairs to the top of the World's Largest 'M' for a can't-be-beat tri-state view.
Color Status
The early-changing maples are putting on quite a show right now, blazing orange and red amid the still-green vegetation. The fall color is sparse, but vibrant.
Area Activities and Events
