Bring history to life! Spend the day exploring four time periods! You may get the chance to barter with the fur trader in La Baye or march in a military drill at Fort Howard. Watch the blacksmith pound iron in his shop in the Growing Community or perhaps make butter at the Belgian Farm. Walk through over 48 acres of land, featuring 25 historic buildings, five of which are on the State and National Registers of Historic Places. Interact with costumed interpreters who will tell and show you what life was like long ago! Guided tours of several of the historic buildings available Tuesday-Sunday from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Open and interpreted buildings change daily.
