Delafield Fish Hatchery
Constructed in 1907, the hatchery stands as a reminder of Wisconsin's fishing heritage. In the early 20th century concern over fish deletion led to the creation of a fish propagation program. The fieldstone building contained two concrete tanks for hatching walleye-pike eggs. The grounds included six holding ponds; two were used for hatching bass eggs.
