Built in 1934, the seventy-two-foot lighthouse marks the shallow Peshtigo Reef extending into Green Bay. The current tower serves as an active aid to navigation and is only accessible by boat. The closest ports are Peshtigo, Oconto, Green Bay, and Sturgeon Bay.
