The Twin Lake Recreation Area, located within the Medford-Park Falls Ranger District, offers 17 campsites. Each campsite includes a parking spur, a campfire ring with a grill, a picnic table, vault toilets, and access to drinking water. Two of the campsites feature a hardened surface, accessible grills, and convenient access to drinking water and vault toilets. Accessible vault toilet facilities are also available at the nearby interpretive trail at Round Lake Recreation Area. Additionally, an accessible fishing pier can be found at nearby Newman Lake.

For day use, the area provides a boat ramp that offers access to Twin Lake, a 19-acre lake known for year-round fishing. Twin Lake is home to a good population of trout and panfish. Visitors can also enjoy nearby hiking trails, which are suitable for hiking, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing during the winter.
