Nordic Woods offers an excellent ski trail, groomed for classic skiing on Washburn County Forest Land. If you're looking to beat the crowds, but still want a high quality trail, be sure to check out Nordic Woods. This trail is approximately 15 kilometers in length with a number of loop trails. The terrain is rolling and winds through hardwood ridges and around numerous lakes. In the summer the trails welcome hikers looking to explore a quiet area of Washburn County.
