Join us for our annual Heritage Sunday event. Learn about historic trades by the demonstrators such as broom making, blacksmithing, wood carvers, basket weavers, and others. The grinding process at the mill will begin at noon and continue throughout the day. The museum and gift shop will be open. Special activities for kids include butter making, digging for potatoes, blacksmithing and corn shelling. Horse drawn wagon rides, interacting with a Civil War soldier and doctor, WWII and Viet Nam living history displays, collector show cars are other attractions. Food, beverages, pies and desserts will be sold. No admission charge, but donations are appreciated to help the Friends of Beckman Mill continue their 30 year endeavor to maintain the buildings and educate about bygone times. The park is located 5 miles west of Beloit on County Rd. H.
