The MECCA Trail system is open year round for hiking and biking in the summer and offers 15km of groomed cross country trails for classical & skate skiing and another 6km dedicated to classical skiing. In the winter hiking, snowshoeing and skijoring are allowed only on untracked (skating) portions of the trail. Most trails are on county lands. We maintain a warming house with a wood stove for your comfort. At each trailhead you will find maps and additional information or stop at the Chamber of Commerce for a detailed map of the MECCA Trail System. Trails are also open in the spring, summer and fall for hiking and mountain biking. Please respect and help to preserve these trails for everyone's enjoyment.
