Open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Tuesday-Saturday: 10am-2pm (last tour starts at 2pm). For information on Group Tours or Fall and Winter Hours, please call our office.
Built in 1858 by lumber baron Gideon Hixon, the Historic Hixon House is filled with nearly all the original furnishings, solidifying its significance as a time capsule of local history. Our docents will guide you through this historic piece of La Crosse. Admission fee.
