Ferry operates seasonally from ice-out to ice-in (about end of March to end of Nov), 24-hours a day.
Free carferry service across the Wisconsin River on Hwy 113 just south of Merrimac. Trip time about 7 minutes, wait time may be longer. Carries up to 15 cars. Trailers, motorcycles, bicycles, hikers all welcome; no "semis."
