Surrounded by the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest in Wisconsin’s Northwoods, this comfortably furnished vacation home offers end-of-the-road privacy near Clam Lake, WI. Located only feet from the water’s edge, this rental property enjoys fantastic views down the length of the lake from an elevated, covered porch; ground level patio and lakeside campfire ring. Hear the loons call, the elk bugle and gaze at the night sky in this peaceful setting. There is a bar/game area to gather around as well as a second living room downstairs. The kitchen comes equipped with refrigerator, oven/stove, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, cookware and kitchenware. The walkout lower level makes it convenient to cook lakeside on the grill or sit on the deck and patio furniture and picnic table while taking in the views of the lake. Kids of all ages will enjoy the campfire overlooking the dock on Buffalo Lake.There is room to run around and play some lawn games, too. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled because you’ll be in the heart of Clam Lake’s elk country and you may just happen to see one when you stay at Loons Nest!
