The Kickapoo Exchange and Natural Foods Co-Operative continues to be run and managed by member volunteers. KEX as it is known to locals, hosts music and cultural events, provides area attraction brochures, including bicycle maps and information on the Kickapoo River Museum. KEX has been serving Gays Mills and the surrounding Driftless area for over 35 years.
