Lake Michigan Shoreline

With its pristine coastline and sparkling blue waters, it’s impossible to tell Wisconsin’s Lake Michigan Shoreline apart from the ocean. The unrivaled scenery along with some of Wisconsin’s most vibrant communities make this region a go-to for any Wisconsin traveler, no matter who you’re traveling with.

Thriving Cities

Visit Wisconsin's largest city, Milwaukee, to find adventure around every corner. Take the kids to Discovery World for a day of unforgettable, hands-on learning. Step inside the architecturally iconic Milwaukee Art Museum, with giant moving sails designed by Santiago Calatrava. Enjoy the beats at the world’s largest music festival, Summerfest. Or try any of the beers at Lakefront Brewery — they’ve always got something new and delicious on tap.

Head north to Green Bay, a paradise for more than just sports fans. Visit Sheboygan for beaches, art and more. Or explore Kenosha for more picturesque lakefront and adventure, like at their expansive museum campus. Each city along the Lake Michigan Shoreline has life of its own worth experiencing alongside your favorite people.

Iconic Door County

On the northern peninsula of the Lake Michigan Shoreline lies Door County — a Wisconsin travel destination icon.  A trip here can easily be catered for a family getaway, a second (or first) honeymoon or a friends reunion.

Dance with friends to the live music at Door County Brewing Company or chill at a table with any of their craft beers. A kayaking tour brings you along the coast through caves, the cliffs at Cave Point and possibly a picnic at the sandy Whitefish Dunes. Or bring the family across on the ferry to Washington Island. Take your time touring the island on rented bikes or hop on the Cherry Train and let the tour guides show you around.

Wherever your Lake Michigan Shoreline journey takes you, you’ll find new memories among friends and family — ones that will last forever.
