Armchair Boogie is a four-piece Bluegrass Folk band formed in the heart of Central Wisconsin. Conceived and brought to life by Fond du Lac’s own Ben Majeska (guitar/vocals) and Augie Dougherty (banjo/vocals) in the Fall of 2014.  A rhythm section was added in 2015 when Eli Frieders (bass) and Dan Waterman (drums) came on board.

This FREE concert is held outside on THELMA’s Plaza. The street is closed in front of THELMA on Sheboygan St. Enjoy music, drinks, and have fun with friends! Games are available! Who doesn’t love life-size Jenga or a great game of Corn-Hole? Food will also be available.

Starting in 2015 from a front porch in the college town of Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Armchair Boogie can be defined by their pickin’ skills and infectious grooves. Augie Dougherty and Ben Majeska began playing under the name before becoming complete with the addition of Eli Frieders and solidification of Denzel Connor as the driving rhythm section behind a bluegrass, up-tempo, jammin-funkgrass outfit.
