The Chippewa Valley is a happening place with a wide variety of new features to enjoy. Riverside parks, beautiful bridges, landmark building projects, arts experiences, festivals, picturesque wineries, and fine restaurants offer expanded opportunities to experience the uniqueness of our part of Wisconsin. The Swampers: “Today in the Valley” celebrates all that is new and exciting in the Chippewa Valley. Amanda Tanzer Schafer, Rob Kuchta, Judy Brist, Tim Danielson, Kathy Danielson, and Jerry Way sing and play original Swampgrass ballads interspersed with stories of the uniqueness of our region. A variety of folk instruments and rich vocal harmonies underscore beautiful projected photographs by Carol Way. This year marks the 18th year the Swampers have opened the Chippewa Falls Pure Water Days Celebration with a new show at the Heyde Center for the Arts. Tickets: Adults $13, Seniors $12, Youth $6, Family $32
